Message from The President

"I have always been extremely passionate about gender equality and Girlup is an amazing way to create awareness and progress. Women are powerful and full of potential but have been, for far too long been denied opportunities. Sexism is so deeply ingrained in the society in which we live that it has become the norm .
Through this club we intend to work towards empowering women and deconstructing toxic gender roles , to teach communities and most importantly girls themselves that they matter. We want to focus on creating awareness about menstrual hygiene, education especially at the grassroot level and raise funds for the same. We hope to teach others and learn ourselves how to use our voices for positive change and that we deserve to be heard."
